Challenge
Silver Banquet Hall in Pimpri Pune is an established venue for weddings, sangeets, and large social functions, with the capacity to host hundreds of guests across its ballrooms and lawns. With peak wedding season coinciding with the hottest months of the year, the management recognised that guest comfort during events was directly dependent on having effective, large-space cooling in place. Inadequate cooling in a banquet setting directly affects the guest experience and the venue’s reputation — and ultimately, repeat bookings.
The cooling system had to meet several conditions simultaneously: powerful enough to cool the full 9,600 sq. ft. of indoor space, cost-effective to operate, compatible with a standard duct connection for centralised airflow, and quiet enough not to interfere with music, speeches, or the general ambience of events.
Solution
Symphony Venti Cool’s team evaluated the hall’s layout and designed a roof-mounted cooling system using ten PAC 20U industrial air coolers. The units were installed on the roof with down-discharge ducts running into the ballrooms and event spaces, allowing cool air to be channelled directly into each area without occupying any floor or wall space inside the halls. A common duct configuration ensured centralised and uniform airflow throughout all rooms.
The PAC 20U was the right fit for this application — it delivers high-volume industrial-grade airflow while operating at low noise levels, making it well-suited for event environments where sound quality matters. The roof installation also kept the units out of sight, preserving the venue’s interior aesthetic for functions.

Performance
The ten roof-mounted PAC 20U units delivered consistent and even cooling across the ballrooms and event spaces through the down-discharge duct network. The centralised duct system ensured no area of the 9,600 sq. ft. hall received unequal airflow, maintaining a uniform temperature throughout events. The units operated at low noise levels, with no guest complaints about sound interference during functions. Installation — including all drilling and duct fitting — was completed within the specified timeframe.
Result
Silver Banquet Hall now operates with a reliable, venue-appropriate cooling system that supports comfortable guest experiences and smooth event execution during the hottest seasons. Event staff were able to manage functions more efficiently with guests remaining comfortable throughout, reducing heat-related disruptions during events. The management confirmed satisfaction with the installation quality and system performance, and expressed confidence in its continued reliability across upcoming event seasons.
