Challenge
Aditya Birla Power, a leading manufacturer of composite hollow core insulators, operates a large production facility in Halol, Gujarat. Workers across the 67,000 sq. ft. facility were experiencing a dual problem — extreme humidity and significant dust accumulation from manufacturing processes. Together, these conditions created a suffocating and unhygienic work environment that directly impacted employee health, comfort, and productivity across production shifts.
The management initially evaluated air washers as a solution, but these were found to be unsuitable — they did not adequately address the dust problem and came with high electricity consumption. Aditya Birla Power then identified Symphony Venti Cool’s LSV solutions as a more effective and cost-efficient alternative that could handle both ventilation and dust management at this scale.
Solution
Symphony Venti Cool’s team carried out a detailed inspection of the 67,000 sq. ft. facility and recommended a deployment of 28 VC25U units. Each unit was connected to a 10-foot duct fitted with a plenum, allowing cool air to be distributed in a controlled and directional manner across the production floor. Six jet nozzles per unit were configured to maintain continuous positive airflow — a key factor in actively reducing dust settlement across the workspace.
The plenum-and-nozzle configuration was specifically chosen to keep the facility dust-free while simultaneously delivering effective cooling and ventilation. This approach addressed all three of Aditya Birla Power’s core requirements — humidity control, dust reduction, and comfortable ambient temperature — within a single, integrated system.

Performance
Following installation, the facility environment improved across all three problem areas. Humidity levels stabilised, and the continuous jet nozzle airflow actively prevented dust accumulation on work surfaces and machinery. The 28 VC25U units maintained consistent cooling across the full floor area throughout production shifts. Worker comfort improved noticeably as the suffocating conditions that had previously defined the workspace were replaced with a clean, well-ventilated environment.
Result
Aditya Birla Power confirmed that the Symphony Venti Cool installation delivered on all stated objectives — reducing dust, controlling humidity, and providing effective, energy-efficient cooling across the 67,000 sq. ft. facility. Employee productivity increased as workers were able to operate in a cleaner, cooler environment free from the health and comfort issues that had previously hindered their performance. The project validated the VC25U and plenum-nozzle system as a practical solution for large manufacturing environments where air quality and dust control are as critical as temperature management.
