Challenge
Mamta Hospital, one of Raipur’s leading super-speciality hospitals, identified the need for a reliable cooling solution for its general ward. The ward houses patients in recovery, making the quality and freshness of air a critical consideration — not just comfort. The administration initially evaluated air conditioning as an option but ruled it out due to high installation costs, expensive ongoing maintenance, and the fact that AC systems recirculate air, which is not ideal in a patient care environment.
The hospital required a solution that was economical to install and run, easy to maintain, and capable of providing fresh airflow to patients throughout the day — without compromising on hygiene or patient well-being.
Solution
Symphony Venti Cool’s team assessed the general ward and proposed two Venticool 20U units as the appropriate fit for the space. The 20U model was selected for its ability to deliver fresh, cool air directly through grills — ensuring even air distribution across the ward without creating uncomfortable drafts or cold spots near patient beds.
Key product features that made the 20U the right choice for this healthcare setting include four-side cooling pads for consistent and superior cooling, a cool flow dispenser for enhanced and even airflow, silent operation that does not disturb resting patients, energy-efficient performance aligned with the hospital’s cost objectives, and a thermally re-engineered plastic body rated for all-weather reliability.

Performance
Following installation, the general ward maintained a comfortable and well-ventilated environment throughout the day. The two 20U units delivered even airflow through direct grills across the ward, ensuring no area received inadequate cooling. The units operated silently, with no noise-related complaints from patients or nursing staff. Running costs were significantly lower than the AC alternative the hospital had initially considered.
Result
Mamta Hospital’s administration confirmed satisfaction with the installation and performance of the Symphony cooling system. Nursing staff reported being able to work more comfortably during extended shifts, and patient recovery conditions improved with consistent fresh air supply in the ward. The general ward now provides a fresh, cool, and comfortable environment at a cost and operational profile that fits the hospital’s long-term requirements.
