Challenge
Bethesda Integrated School is a well-regarded high school in Nuzvid. While all classrooms were already equipped with air conditioners, the school administration had a growing concern — ACs recirculate indoor air without introducing fresh air from outside, which is not ideal for children spending several hours in a classroom. Beyond air quality, the high power consumption of running multiple AC units across a large school building was adding significant pressure to the operating budget.
The school needed a solution that would bring in fresh, clean air consistently, maintain a comfortable temperature, and do so at a fraction of the energy cost of conventional air conditioning — all without disrupting ongoing classes during installation.
Solution
Symphony Venti Cool’s team assessed the school’s layout and identified ducting as the most effective approach for covering multiple classrooms with uniform airflow from centrally placed units. Two Venticool 20U machines were installed to serve all eight classrooms through a ducted distribution network. Each classroom was fitted with two dedicated grills to ensure maximum air coverage and consistent fresh air delivery to every student and staff member in the room.
The Venticool 20U was selected for its four-side cooling pads for superior cooling efficiency, cool flow dispensers for enhanced air distribution, and a UV-stabilised, weather-resistant engineered plastic body built for long-term durability. Its quick-install design also allowed the entire setup to be completed with minimal disruption to the school’s schedule.

Performance
Once operational, the ducted system delivered a continuous supply of fresh, cool air across all eight classrooms. The Venticool 20U units maintained consistent airflow through each grill point, ensuring no classroom received unequal cooling. Energy consumption was significantly lower compared to running individual ACs in each room, directly addressing the school’s cost concern. The units operated quietly — essential in an academic environment where concentration is key.
Result
The school administration, teaching staff, and students all responded positively to the improved indoor environment. Classrooms that previously relied on recirculated AC air were now receiving fresh, cooled air throughout the day. Students were more alert and comfortable during lessons, and staff productivity improved with a better working environment. BIS confirmed satisfaction with both the installation quality and the system’s ongoing performance, and students comfortably completed their full academic term before the summer break.
